Learn Firewise Community practices in this workshop in Airway Heights (Spokane) WA on May 17-18.
We're big proponents of Firewise and we've treated our entire forest with financial help from various agencies. We breathe a lot easier when fire threatens our region. (Maybe "breathe easier" isn't the right metaphor?)
It would be even better if our neighbors were all with program.
That's why I recommend attending a workshop and learning about the principles of Firewise Communities. WSU Forestry is presenting the 2-day workshop.
Registration for the event is FREE and includes all class material, and lunch on both days. The first 20 registrants will receive free Tuesday night lodging at the Ramada Spokane Airport.
