We're excited to announce that we completed our goal of having a foundation for the mountain cabin by the time the snow flies.
After 14 years of planning, numerous floorplans and designs, dozens of advisers, months of fretting about getting big cement trucks to the site, groundbreaking, tense inspections, and a season of hard work, we can declare that "major operations have ended" for the year.
Thank you, everyone involved, for making this milestone possible.
In spring 2016 we'll start on the floor framing, then log building. Before long we'll be able to welcome family and friends for stays that don't require camping gear. Meanwhile, if you like working outdoors... stay tuned!
